Pleasantville, NY – Women's Soccer battled Pace University Saturday evening at Northwell Stadium, but the Golden Falcons ultimately fell, 3-2, despite battling back from one-goal deficits twice.
Pace opened the scoring in the 10th minute and carried a 1-0 advantage into halftime. Felician responded just 3:10 into the second half when Brooklyn Niemy finished off an assist from Sierra Moretto to level the match at 1-1. The Setters regained the lead in the 60th minute before adding another goal in the 73rd minute to take a 3-1 advantage. Grace DiQuattro pulled Felician within one in the 79th minute, but Pace held on through the final whistle.
Felician finished with 14 shots, including seven on target, while Isabella Riollano made eight saves in goal. Niemy led the Golden Falcons with seven shots and two shots on target, while DiQuattro added two shots and a goal.
