Rutherford, NJ – Women's volleyball continued CACC play with a dominant 3-0 sweep of Chestnut Hill College Saturday afternoon. The Golden Falcons took the opening set, 26-24, before earning a 25-23 victory in the second set and closing out the match with a 25-12 third-set triumph. Felician improves to 8-5 overall and 1-1 in CACC play.
Standout Stats
- Sandra Galas led the Golden Falcons with 16 kills on 24 attacks, hitting .625, while adding 11 digs and 18.5 points.
- Peyton Kellam recorded 8 kills, 3 digs and 9.5 points, while Megan Barker added 4 kills and 6.5 points.

Key Moments
Set 1 – Felician jumped out to a 6-2 advantage before Chestnut Hill battled back to make it 8-8. The Golden Falcons regained control behind kills from Galas, Kellam and Rone, building a 20-15 lead. Chestnut Hill rallied to tie the set at 20-20 and eventually forced a 24-24 tie, but Felician answered with back-to-back points to claim the opening set, 26-24.
Set 2 – Felician opened the second set with a 3-0 lead and later held an 8-6 advantage. Chestnut Hill responded with a 6-0 run to take a 12-8 lead, but the Golden Falcons steadily fought back. Rone's service ace helped Felician pull even at 13-13, and the Golden Falcons eventually moved in front, 17-15. Felician maintained its advantage down the stretch and closed out the set, 25-23.
Set 3 – Felician took control from the start, building a 5-1 lead and extending the advantage to 11-7. The Golden Falcons then erupted for a 7-0 run, highlighted by five consecutive Galas kills, to take a 22-11 lead. Felician finished the set, 25-12, completing the sweep.
