Andrew Steven Lombardi... veteran backstop comes off an injury to bolster catching corps.

2012: Took a medical "redshirt" season.

2011: Played in 28 games, starting 22... enjoyed best offensive season with two doubles, a triple, eight RBI and a .246 batting average... .989 fielding percentage was fourth-best single season in school history... threw out three attempted base-stealers in one game vs. Dominican 3/22... also went 3 for 4 with a triple and two RBI in that game.

2010: Appeared in 11 games with four starts... went 3 for 13 with two doubles, three runs and three RBI... walked four times for a .412 OBP.

2009: Played in 11 games, starting one... went 2 for 8 with three walks, four runs scored and an RBI.

Prior to Felician: Second-team all-conference for coach Paul Pignatello at Montville Township... team won 2007 sectional championship and reached sectional finals in 2008... played for Steve Langan on the AAU Play Ball Bats.

Personal: Youngest of three children of Steven and Eileen Lombardi... majoring in business administration with 3.30 GPA... born 4/18/90 in Morristown, N.J.
