After suffering an injury in his first start, Wall returned to become one of the nation’s top players. The junior made 50 starts, batting .402 (top 50 nationally) with 87 hits (10th nationally) and 37 stolen bases (T-12th nationally). He recorded multi-hit games in 28 contests and drove in 51 runs as the leadoff hitter, adding 15 doubles, one triple, and five home runs. Defensively, Wall split time between shortstop and the outfield, posting a .939 fielding percentage with 92 putouts and 46 assists. In the NCAA Division II East Regional Championship, he hit a walk-off solo home run on the first pitch of the ninth inning to send Felician to its first College World Series appearance.
