Joseph Michael Schultheis... left-hander will be counted upon for important outs out of the bullpen.

2015: Missed entire season due to injury.

2014: Was 1-0 with a 4.00 earned-run average... pitched 18 innings in 16 appearances... gave up 17 hits and 15 walks while striking out six batters... earned first collegiate victory with two innings of scoreless relief vs. Merrimack 2/23... was an All-Star in the Valley Collegiate League during the summer for the Covington Lumberjacks.

2013: Pitched in 11 contests, starting two... had an 0-1 record with a 5.30 ERA... recorded 13 strikeouts in 18 2/3 innings... was an All-Star in the North Atlantic Collegiate League for the Long Island Whalers in the summer.

Prior to Felician: Three-time all-conference pitcher for coach Robert Fisher at Bethpage High... team won 2012 conference championship... was honored with school's Ryan Caulfield Award for dedication to his sport... was also a two-time all-conference selection in football... most recent summer program was the Long Island Titans.

Personal: Son of George and Luanne Schultheis... has four sisters... older sister Nicole played softball at Pace University... majoring in accounting... born 5/26/94 in Bethpage, N.Y.
