Biography

2025 (Senior): Team captain Waltz made 22 appearances, including 12 starts, in his senior season. He posted a 4.01 ERA over 74 innings, striking out a career-high 67 batters. Facing 353 hitters, he allowed 87 hits and 43 runs (33 earned). In his final outing, he pitched 2.1 innings against nationally ranked UT Tyler in the College World Series, striking out four and allowing just one hit. Just days after finishing his collegiate career, Waltz inked a deal with the New Jersey Jackals where he quickly emerged as a top pitcher on the team.
