Brad Forestieri returned for his third stint as a Felician assistant men's basketball coach in November 2021. He previously worked under Ivan Lewis with the Golden Falcons during the 2017-18 season. Forestieri had served three years with Lewis on Dave DeFerrari's staff from 2009-2012, and was particularly responsible for weight training and conditioning for the 2009-10 Felician squad that won the CACC championship.
Forestieri spent the 2013-14 campaign as an assistant coach at Mercy College. Prior to entering the college ranks, he was an assistant at Elmwood Park Memorial High School, his alma mater, from 2006-2008. He helped guide the Crusaders to a 37-13 combined record, a pair of BPSL championships, and the 2007 Group 1 North 1 Sectional title.Â
Forestieri is a 2003 graduate of EPMHS, and is a member of the the Elmwood Park Athletic Hall of Fame. Following his senior season, he was chosen the northjerseysports.com Male Athlete of the Year after being named first-team All-BPSL, honorable-mention all-Bergen County, first-team all North Jersey Group 1, and Second Team all-State Group 1.
Forestieri was a "redshirt" member of the 2003-04 Felician team which captured the CACC regular-season championship and the ECAC Division II title. He then transferred to Bergen Community College and led the Bulldogs to a 50-12 record and a pair of GSAC championships the next two seasons. In 2015-16, Forestieri was a starter for the semi-professional Jersey Express of the American Basketball Association.
Since November 2011, Forestieri has been an officer with the Passaic County Sheriff's Office, currently as a Lieutenant. He previously spent four years as a police officer with the Paterson Police Department. He resides in Wayne.
