Jorge Solodkin comes to Felician University in the Spring of 2024 as an assistant coach. He is a graduate of William Paterson University (WPU) and was a member of the baseball program with the Pioneers.
Solodkin earned his degree in Physical Education (PE), and has worked as a PE teacher from 2019 to 2021 after his graduation from WPU. His coaching career began in 2018 when he became a part-time assistant baseball coach at Millburn High School, where he served from 2018-2021.
He moved into the realm of softball in 2019 when he joined the staff at Montclair State University as part-time assistant from 2019 and 2020. In the 2021 season, Solodkin joined the softball staff at Bloomfield College where he worked along side current head coach Phil Delgado. Then, in 2022 he became a volunteer assistant coach at Division I, Seton Hall University.
In 2023, Solodkin spent the Spring season with Christopher Newport University (CNU) who made a Division III World Series run and finished eighth in the country during that time. He ultimately took his coaching abilities to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as the Director of Sports performance before returning home to continue his business of Evolution Catching - in which he is the owner of. He has been providing lessons, camps and clinics throughout the country since 2018.
