John "Jack" Wilson joined the Felician men's lacrosse staff in August 2020 as the defensive coordinator. He also spearheads the Golden Falcons' recruiting efforts.
Wilson spent the 2019 and 2020 seasons coordinating the defense, goalkeeping and faceoff units at Curry College in Milton, Mass. As Curry's recruiting coordinator, he helped attract more than 15 student-athletes to each of the Colonels' Classes of 2023 and 2024.
Wilson began his coaching career as an assistant at his high-school alma mater, Christian Brothers Academy of Lincroft, in 2018. He guided the defense and goalkeepers, and ran the substitution box on game days. The Colts attained a final statewide ranking of No. 8, and their starting goalie was named a U.S. Lacrosse All-American.
Since 2017, Wilson has been an assistant director of the Mid New Jersey Lacrosse summer/fall leagues, based in Lincroft.
Scholastically, Wilson was twice chosen as CBA's Epitome of the Academy. As a senior in 2012-13, he was selected the Colts' Most Valuable Player and the Academy's Sportsman of the Year. He went on to play for the first two men's lacrosse teams in the history of Georgian Court University in Lakewood. On April 25, 2016, he was in the cage for GCU's first-ever home victory, an 11-9 triumph over St. Thomas Aquinas College.
Wilson earned a B.A. in history from Georgian Court in 2018. He resides in Freehold.
