Scott Maloney

Scott Maloney was named the Interim Head Women's Soccer Coach at Felician in August 2022. He had been added to coach Aris Alpian's staff in December 2021 after spending the previous three seasons as an assistant men's coach at the County College of Morris. Maloney coached three players to being named to the Division III All-Region Third Team.

In the spring of 2023, Maloney was named the full time Head Women's Soccer Coach and athletic assistant, managing the transportation for athletics. In his third season at the helm, Maloney led the Golden Falcons to its first CACC postseason berth in eight years, finishing with an overall record of 4-6-7 and a 2-3-6 CACC record. The Golden Falcons were eliminated in the quarterfinals by Jefferson.

Maloney is currently the Executive Director and Director of Coaching for Morris Elite SC. Maloney served as the 2006 USL Academy Girls head coach that competed in the USYS Mid-Atlantic League and NPL Mid-Atlantic League. He led the club's 2006 girls to three USL Youth National Finals appearances, two USL Academy Cup Championship appearances, and one US Club NPL Division Championship.

In addition to his director role at Morris Elite SC, Maloney serves as the USL W League assistant coach since 2022. He helped guide the team to a 32-9-5 record, two Metropolitan Division Championships, a national quarterfinal appearance, and an Eastern Conference Championship appearance. In his first three years, he coached two players to the USL W League Team of the Year honors and one Metropolitan Division Player of the Year.

Prior to his employment at Morris Elite, Maloney was the Director of Administration for the Girls Developmental Academy club, Long Island SC while cross performing as the Technical Director of the Long Island Rough Riders youth supplemental programs. Before the move to Long Island, he helped launch the independently owned Baltimore Kings Professional Soccer Club as the Business Development Manager and worked for the United Soccer Academy as an Operations Coordinator and professional soccer instructor.

Maloney graduated from York College (Pa.) in 2015 with a B.S. degree in sports management and a minor in management. While an undergraduate, Maloney spent one year with the Harrisburg City Islanders of the United Soccer League as an Operations Assistant and Academy Instructor. He obtained his first coaching position, leading the varsity team at York Country Day School. He played one year of amateur soccer for Kinnelon FC of the Garden State Soccer League. 

Maloney holds a USSF National 'C' Coaching License and is pursuing his National 'B' License.
