Kim Butrico


Kim Butrico ascended to her first collegiate head coaching position when she was chosen to lead the Felician University women's volleyball program in July 2022.

Butrico came to Felician after serving four years as an assistant coach at Ramapo College. She spent the 2014 season in a similar role at Montclair State University. She is also an accomplished area club coach, having worked for the Pinnacle Volleyball Academy since 2018 following eight years on staff at the DIGS Volleyball Club.

A graduate of Cresskill High School, Butrico began her collegiate playing career at Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I. She then transferred to Montclair State, appearing in 86 matches as a defensive specialist/libero from 2011 to 2013. Butrico helped the Red Hawks to a school-record 22 victories in 2012 and to an appearance in the 2013 New Jersey Athletic Conference semifinals. She accumulated 488 career digs and 94 service aces.

Butrico completed a B.A. degree in psychology at Montclair State in December 2013. She resides in Lodi.
