Lanyse N. Castro... returnee is a candidate at opposite hitter.

2015: Played in 30 matches... in 89 sets, hit .067 with 1.21 kills and 0.94 digs per set... accmulated 14 blocks and five aces... totaled seven kills, 13 digs and fouve aces, all season highs, at Goldey-Beacom 10/24... later added three additional seven-kill efforts.

2014: Attended Felician but did not play.

2013: Played at Union County College... postd 92 kills and 17 aces in 15 matches in helping the Owls to the Garden State Conference championship.

Prior to College: Played for coach Tania Labrador at Elizabeth High.

Personal: Daughter of Katerine Castro.. biology major... born 10/31/94 in Elizabeth, N.J.
