Box Score WATERBURY, Conn. – Despite a "double-double" from senior forward J.R. Pringley (Elizabeth, N.J.) and a career-high 15 points by sophomore guard Damiun Moore (Manchester, N.J.), the Felician College men's basketball team suffered an 83-69 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference loss to host Post University on Wednesday night at the Drubner Center.
Pringley produced 18 points and led all players with 12 rebounds. Moore shot 5 for 7 from the floor, including 3 of 5 from three-point range, and added four assists in 26 minutes. Freshman forward Matt Mareno (San Francisco, Calif.) led Post (3-3, 2-1 CACC) with 23 points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots.
Felician sophomore guard Tim Massado (Wilmington, Del.) fed Moore for a trifecta, then converted a driving lay-up to give the visitors their only lead of the night, 23-21, with six minutes, 41 seconds, remaining in the opening period. But a Mareno bucket and consecutive three-pointers by Travis Flagg (Queens, N.Y.) led to a 13-0 Eagle run and a 39-28 halftime advantage for the hosts.
Still trailing by 11 with 17:17 left in regulation, Felician (0-7, 0-3) embarked on an 11-2 run over the next five minutes of game time to pull to within 46-44.
