Box Score

ORANGEBURG, N.Y. – Senior center Jeyvi Miavivululu (Paterson, N.J./Paterson Catholic) scored a game high 25 points and junior guard Tim Massado (Wilmington, Del./St. Elizabeth) went 7 for 8 at the foul line in the final 50 seconds to lead the Felician University men's basketball team to an 85-75 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory over visiting Caldwell University on Tuesday night at Job Gymnasium.

The game marked the end of the 2015-16 season for both schools. Miavivululu, Felician's only senior, was competing in his final collegiate game. He also led Felician with seven rebounds and two blocked shots.

The Golden Falcons were ahead, 36-27, at halftime, but Caldwell put together a 13-0 run over the first five minutes of the second half, including eight points by senior Dawan Lighty (Paterson, N.J./John F. The Cougars once again battled back, tying the score at 51-51 with 8:02 remaining. Felician had a lead of between one and five points for the next 5 ½ minutes of game time before junior Jamal Reid (Newark, N.J./East Side) buried a three-point field goal and converted a driving lay-up on consecutive possessions to put the Golden Falcons ahead, 72-64, at the 1:44 mark. Caldwell came as close as 76-72 on two Lighty free throws at 0:42, but Massado and the Golden Falcons were able to secure the victory at the foul line.
