BRIDGEPORT, CT. – A pair of Felician 3-point records were broken Tuesday night in the Golden Falcons' CACC meeting at Bridgeport. The green and gold produced a program best with 18 threes on 29 attempts, led by Jamling Lama (Secaucus, N.J.) setting a new standard on a perfect 7-for-7 from behind the arc. Bridgeport, however, also hit on 18 threes and used a sizable first half advantage to carry them towards a 109-88 win.

Lama's shooting display broke the previous school record of Anthony Obery's perfect 6-for-6 back on Nov. 10, 2013 at Molloy. Along with Deiker Padrino (Bogota, N.J.) making 6-of-9 from long range, the team also broke the previous school record of 17 threes made set on three occasions – vs. Wilmington (2/9/19), vs. Nyack (1/30/19), vs. Caldwell (2/26/20).

Bridgeport pulled ahead early on the Golden Falcons to lead 52-33 at the half, thanks in part to Knight Malcolm Moye dropping 22 of his 37 points in the first 20. This would not deter Felician, as the team produced 55 second-half points, aided by making 14-of-17 threes in the latter session. This was where Lama connected on six of his threes and Padrino went 4-for-4 from behind the arc.

Felician finished the night shooting 49.2 percent (30-of-61) on 18-of-29 threes and 10-of-15 free throws, while Bridgeport fared 53.8 percent (43-of-80) at 18-of-40 and 5-of-10, respectively. The Knights held a commanding 49-25 lead on the boards, 44-23 in points in the paint, and 43-20 in bench points.

Anas Amos (Newark, N.J.) connected for 15 points, while Etnik Peci (Pristina, Kosovo) delivered 13 points in 29 minutes off the bench. Jonathan Edwards (Waterbury, Conn.) led the team with seven rebounds.
