RUTHERFORD, N.J. - After the men's soccer squad had their record-breaking win streak snapped at Franklin Pierce on Oct. 17, the Golden Falcons were looking to bounce back into the winners bracket, and to remain perfect in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, when they hosted Georgian Court on Thursday afternoon. 

In a battle of a first half, the Lions out shot the hosts 11-7 with three opposer shots on goal. Emanuele Moretti (Rome, Italy) managed to snag one of the three while Matt Greenway (Birmingham, England) and Alvaro Martin Castedo (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain) backed the green-and-gold keeper with massive defensive saves. The first goal of the match has yet to be seen after the first 45-minutes of play. 

The first goal of the match was yet to be seen as the the contest got well into the second half. By the 79th-minute, the Odhran Lawlor (Moate, Ireland) managed to squeeze the ball through Lions defenders to find Andy Alvarez (Elizabeth, N.J.) for the game winning goal. Since then, the Lions were able to boot just one more shot in an attempt to force a tie but to no avail, giving the Golden Falcon their seventh conference win of the season. 

Men's Soccer improved to 10-2-1 overall and 7-0 in the CACC. They will be back in action on Saturday as they hit the road to play Chestnut Hill in Philadelphia, P.A. for a 12:00pm start.
