ORANGEBURG, N.Y. - Felician women's volleyball's sought redemtion after losing to Dominican (N.Y.) University, 0-3, earlier in the 2023 season Wednesday evening. As the Golden Falcons entered the Chargers home court, the two teams battled through five sets with Felician being crowned victorious after a 15-13 fifth set win, 3-2.

Felician sparked the evening with the first set win, 25-19, which led the Chargers play catch-up as they found themselves unable to surpass the green-and-gold style of play for the overall match win. As the set wins flopped back and forth between squads, the Golden Falcons captured the fifth set in a comeback fashion when they trailed 8-12. Two host attack errors, 2 Betts kills and a Barker kill ignited a rally for the 13-12 score flip in favor of Felician. The sophomore took charge of the final points for the green-and-gold as she captured the final two kills for the Golden Falcons to secure the overall match win, 3-2.
The volleyball squad improves to 10-13 overall and 8-4 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. They will be back in action this weekend on Saturday to play Georgian Court University in Lakewood, N.J. for a 12:00pm start.
