Women's Soccer Honors Five During Senior Night Celebrations

NUTLEY, N.J. - Felician women's soccer hosted their senior night celebration at Tangorra Field at Nutley High School when they celebrated five Golden Falcons on their careers representing the green-and-gold. During the Saturday night event, the Golden Falcons hosted Wilmington (Del.) University for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match-up.

Alexis Lambertino (Hammington, N.J.), Isabella Bertossi (Ballito, South Africa), Carlie Koziol (East Rutherford, N.J.), Lindsay Whaley (Subic Bay, Philippines) and Bianca Revenga (Caracas, Venezuela) are among the five honorees that were commemorated prior to the start of play.

Throughout the first 45-minutes of play, the Golden Falcons stuck with the Wildcats despite being out shot 11-5. Two massive shots by Kailey Rappel (Huntington, N.Y.) and Megan Boddy (Galloway, N.J.) fulfilled the sensation that a green-and-gold point was nearing, however, by the end of the first, it was the opposer to score first for the 1-0 lead to enter intermission.

By the end of the match, the Golden Falcons would drop 3-0 for the CACC loss.

Lambertino would end the night with nine saves as she continues to lead the conference with 97 and Jalyn Tse (Queens, N.Y.) had two shots while Boddy, Rappel, Whaley, Koziol, Emmy Eskridge (Temecula, C.A.),  Filly Urias (Lubbock, T.X.), and Anne Noonan (Hawthorne, N.J.) had one apiece.

The Golden Falcons are 0-11-3 and 0-8-1. They will enter their final match of th 2023 season on Tuesday when they host Post Univeristy at Tryon Field at 12:00pm.
