  • Jaylen Colon (Paterson, N.J.) ignited the final lead change for the Golden Falcons on a lay-up, 38-37, and Abdul Shanunu (Accra, Ghana) increased the green-and-gold advantage to four on an bucket in the paint, 41-37.
  • The largest lead for the squad was at seven, 46-39, on a fastbreak three by Colon, but that was soon dwindled down to one and the loss of the advantage as the hosts rallied for 8 points to close out the first half, 48-49.
  • With the second half underway, Felician re-gained the 50-49 lead for the final time of the contest on freebees by Colon, but the Red Hawks didn't back down and went on a 27-10 run and forced the Golden Falcons into a 16 point deficit, 60-76.
  • Under a minute remaining in the contest and the score read 86-91 in favor of the Red Hawks after Justin Davis (Jersey City, N.J.) nailed a three. Colon would turn the afternoon into a three point game, 88-91, and the Golden Falcons missed two equalizing opportunities as the clock winded down and the Red Hawks defeated the green-and-gold, 88-93.
