MAHWAH, NJ – Felician Outdoor Track and Field went into Saturday afternoon at the Ramapo College Invitational in first place. After the final results on Saturday, the Golden Falcons placed second by one point behind Stockton, 168-167.
In day two, four more Felician records have been broken, one that was set last week. Jada Carroll (Ridgefield Park, NJ) shattered two in the events of the 100m Hurdles (15.98) and Triple Jump (11.49m) which was set by her teammate, Talia Ferguson (Kingston, Jamaica) on March 28. Bri Balderas (Somerset, NJ) broke her own record in the 1,500m event with a sixth-place finish at a time of 5:02.44.
The Golden Falcons secured first place in the 4x400 event with a record-breaking time of 4:05.3 set by the squad of Catherine Catipay (Woodbridge, NJ), Chantoya Thomas (Spanish Town, Jamaica), Shayla Morales (North Bergen, NJ) and Darrian Lewis (East Windsor, NJ).
The Golden Falcons will be back in action at the TCNJ Invitational on Saturday, April 8th.
