Rutherford NJ - Felician University's volleyball team showed determination and grit in their October 12th match against Georgian Court but ultimately fell in three sets (23-25, 19-25, 19-25) in a CACC showdown at home. Despite the loss, there were strong performances from key players who kept the Golden Falcons competitive throughout the match.
Karla Maldonado led the charge for Felician, posting 6Â kills during this contest. Her aggressive attacks kept the Golden Falcons within striking distance during each set. Megan Barker was another standout performer, contributing 10Â kills and hitting .400Â for the match. Barker also added 6Â digs, providing a strong two-way effort for her team. Setter Kaya Mclean was pivotal in coordinating the offense, dishing out 11Â assists and adding a service ace. On the defensive end, Libero Alyssa Reeser anchored the backcourt with 10Â digs, helping to keep Georgian Court's offense at bay.
Women's Volleyball gets a few days off but are back at home this Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM to go up against Bridgeport.
