Rutherford, NJ – Felician University Women's Volleyball hosted Bloomfield College this evening, and in front of a packed crowd for Fan Fest, the Golden Falcons delivered a dominant 3-set victory. The win brings Felician one step closer to their season goals, as they continue to build momentum. Here's how the Golden Falcons performed.
Kiah Jackson led the offense with 9 kills on 16 attempts and a .438 hitting percentage, adding 3 block assists for a match-high 12.5 points. Rowan Jensen also had a strong performance, tallying 8 kills and 1 block assist for 8.5 points. Setter Sophia Watterson expertly directed the offense with 19 assists and shined at the service line with 6 aces. Megan Barker added 7 kills, 10 digs, and 1 service ace, contributing 8.5 points.
Defensively, Felician was solid with 48 total digs, led by Barker and Aly Reeser. The team's 8 block assists, with contributions from Jackson and Jensen, played a key role in stifling Bloomfield's offense. Additionally, Felician recorded 13 service aces, keeping Bloomfield off-balance throughout the match.
