Rutherford NJ - Felician University Men's Soccer team made the most of their trip to Shepherdstown, West Virginia as they secured a 3-2 victory over Shepherd University in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

First Half- Shepherd University got out to an early 1-0 lead, but the Golden Falcons' defense stepped up in a big way to make sure the Rams didn't find the back of the net throughout the remainder of the half. In the 34th minute, an own goal by Shepherd provided the Golden Falcons with a huge momentum boost heading into halftime.

Second Half- The beginning of the second half was eventful, as Felician took the lead in the 49th minute courtesy of a goal from Sebastian Anaya. Shepherd would tie the game shortly after as both teams would lock in defensively for the next 30 minutes of action.

In the 80th minute, Felician capitalized to take the lead for good. Kohta Yamanashi found the back of the net for the score and the Golden Falcons defense did the rest, remaining dominant over the final 10 minutes to secure the victory.

The Felician University Men's Soccer team closes out their regular season slate on Thursday, November 7 as they host CACC foe Dominican University at 7PM.
