Rutherford NJ - Felician University Men's Track and Field athlete Devin Jones has been officially ranked #7 in the Long Jump. This is after his performance at the FDU Knights Midweek Clash where he recorded a 7.42 Meter Jump that not only broke his personal best, but also Felician Record.Â
Devin Jones held the record for Felician within the Long Jump before this season, with the previous record being 7.14 Meters. With the new record being 7.42 Meters, this officially puts him 7th on the Division II National Poll with him being behind the 1st Place, who holds it with a distance of 7.64 Meters. With Jones obtaining this milestone at the first meet of the season, there's a possibility that he can still improve from this with a total of 8 Meets still left this season.Â
Jones and the rest of the Track and Field team now prepare for their next meet this Friday at Wagner College in the Seahawks Shootout on December 13th.
