Rutherford, NJ- The Felician Men's Track and Field team finished their 2024 slate by competing in the annual Seahawk Shoot Out in Staten Island, New York on Friday, December 13.
Competing against 24 teams, most of whom are Division I programs, the Golden Falcons put together some strong individual performances.
Devir Britton earned a 13th place finish (among 117 qualifiers) in the Men's 60 Meter Dash (7.04). Teammate Samuel Yepps wasn't far behind, as the freshman finished 17th overall (7.08).
Ben Nelken battled his way to a top 20 finish in the Men's 300 Meter Dash, finishing in 19th place (among 127 qualifiers).
Amir Elkholy rounded out the top 20 in the Men's 600 Meter Run with a time of 1:25.54.
A trio of Golden Falcons placed within the top 20 in the Men's 1000 Meter Run. Ezequiel Reyes led the way with his 12th place finish (2:42.35) while Leonard Laine (15th, 2:43.59) and Hayden Dekoyer (19th, 2:45.78) helped cap off a strong event for Felician.
In the Men's 4x400 Meter Relay, the team of Amir Elkholy, Robert Kennedy, Ezequiel Reyes and Leonard Laine claimed 10th overall with a time of 3:37.00.
During the Men's Shotput Event, a Golden Falcon duo finished among the top 13 qualifiers. Uchechukwu Santschi cracked the top 10 with his 9th place finish, while Amir Spruell-Everson was not far behind, finishing in 13th place.
The Felician University Men's Track and Field team continues to make program history, as the student-athletes listed below have re-written the history books:

After a great start to the 2024-2025 season, the Felician University Men's Track and Field team will have some time to rest as they have officially closed out their 2024 schedule. Felician will be back in action on January 10, 2025, at the St. Thomas Aquinas College Invitational in Staten Island, New York.
