Queens, N.Y. - The Felician University men's and women's track and field teams delivered strong showings at the St. John's Big Hurt Meet, turning in multiple event wins and podium finishes across several events.
On the women's side, Felician was led by a series of first-place finishes from
Darrian Lewis,
Brianna Harrison,
Jadelyn Sisco,
Taylor Peters, and
Destiny Ellerbe. The Golden Falcons also claimed the 4x100 relay title, as
Chimeremya Odoh,
Shaquira Walcott,
Imani Fitzpatrick, and Lewis combined for the first-place finish. Felician added several runner-up performances, including Fitzpatrick,
Crystal Margotta, and
Kaitlyn Vieira.Â
The men's team matched that success with standout performances of their own, led by Patrick DuBois, who captured both 800m and 1500m titles. Felician also saw first-place finishes from
Isaiah Gaston and
Devin Jones, as the 4x100 relay team of Jones,
Jake DeJulia,
Courtney Howell, and
Devir Britton secured another event win.
Felician will look to continue their momentum on April 10 as they head to Queens College.
