Rutherford NJ - Felician University Men's Track and Field headed up to Boston, Massachusetts to compete at the UMass Boston Beacon Season Opener. In an all-day event, the Golden Falcons performed great during this meet, with a few 1 Place performances and a handful of Top 3 finishes. Here's how the Golden Falcons performed.
Within the Men 60 Yard Meter Dash, Devin Jones took 1st Place during this meet, finishing with a time of 7.01.
When it came to the 400 Meter Dash, Jan Biskup picked up 2nd Place within this meet, finishing with the time of 52.22.
Once it was time for the 60 Meter Hurdles, Alberto Liste snuck right in there for 3rd Place with a time of 8.83.
When it came to the Field competitions, Shane Connell took home 1st Place in the Men's High Jump with a distance of 2.00 Meters.
Going into the Men's Long Jump, Devin Jones took home his second 1st Place, recording 7.23 Meters. Just missing the Top 3, Kymani Clarke came in 4th with a distance of 6.05 meters.
Once it was time for the Men's Triple Jump, Kymani Clarke came back for redemption during this event when he took 1st Place with a distance of 13.00 Meters.
Coming in 2nd Place within the Shot Put, Uchechukwu Santschi came in with a distance of 12.84 Meters. Wrapping out the Top 5, Amir Spruell-Everson came in 4th with a distance of 12.49 Meters and Cian McKenna came in 5th with a distance of 11.37 Meters.
Going into the last event for the Golden Falcons, Amir Spruell-Everson took home 1st Place within the Weight Throw with a distance 13.46 Meters. In 4th Place, David Rojas comes in with a distance of 11.59 Meters.
As the Golden Falcons get a few days rest, but go back on the road this Friday when they go up against Seahawks Shootout at Wagner College on December 13th.
