RUTHERFORD, N.J. - Felician men's lacrosse (4-7 / 1-4 CACC) clinched their first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference win of the season when they hosted Holy Family University at Tryon Field Saturday evening.
The Golden Falcons recorded eight different scorers in the 20-11 victory over the Tigers and
Finn Crocker (South Hamilton, M.A.) led the charge with 7, tying the third-all time high for goals in a game.
Here's What Happened:
- After being outscored 3-4 in the first quarter, the Golden Falcons dominated the second scoring seven for the 10-7 lead to enter the half. However, the Tigers were able to hold the 5-3 lead over the hosts prior to the seven goal spurt.
- Liam Dunn (Murfreesboro, T.N.) ignited the Felician offense in the second allowing the squad to ultimately tie at five when Jayden Rios (Stony Point, N.Y.) found the back of the net. The second quarter featured two score ties in which Felician came out on top with the lead on three consecutive Felician goals by Drew Gisinger (Beachwood, N.J.), Crocker and Dunn.
- With two and a half minutes remaining in the third, the Golden Falcons opposer cut the host deficit to two, 12-10, but prior to the buzzer the squad netted two in under a minute for the 14-10 lead in the final stanza.
- By the end of the fourth quarter, the Golden Falcons clinched their first CACC win of the season over the Tigers.

- Crocker posted seven goals to lead the team and five ground balls while Jabes Escalante (Chelsea, M.A.) and Dunn had three goals and an assist each.
- Ethan Todner (Plainfield, I.L.) and Joe Bouab (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) caged two goals and Luke Dayton (Haddon Township, N.J.), Rios, and Gisinger had one.
- Nick Grebe (Farmingville, N.Y.) recorded the win in the cage with 17 saves and recorded one assist on a Crocker goal after tossing the ball downt the length of the field in the fourth.
