WATERBURY, C.T. - Felician Baseball began their trek back to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference championship game Thursday morning when they went head-to-head with #1 South Seed Jefferson University Rams in Waterbury, C.T.

- The Rams were on the board first with a run in the bottom half of the opening frame to put Felician into a one run deficit. It didn't take long for the green-and-gold to find their groove as Andrew DeAngelis (Staten Island, N.Y.) posted an RBI single to tie the game at one.
- Jefferson edged the Golden Falcons once more when they scored another in the bottom of the second, however, by the fourth inning Felician tallied two from a DeAngelis sac fly and a Chris Biosli (Edison, N.J.) double for the squad's first lead of the contest, 3-2.
- After another score tie at three, Jack Scrivanic (Tinton Falls, N.J.) put a dagger into the Rams with a two RBI double for the 5-3 advantage.. a lead that Felician refused to relinquished for the remainder of the contest.
- Their opponents rounded the horn once more while Felician recorded five, their largest inning of the day being the top of the eighth with three runs, to walk away from game one victorious and break a four game losing skid with the Rams.
