East Rutherford NJ - Felician Women's Volleyball goes into their second of the day going up against Alaska Fairbanks. The Golden Falcons looked to go into this match getting the victory however Fairbanks had other ideas, as they would come out and win 3-0 not allowing Felician to have any offensive presence this entire contest. Recap - Going into set 1, the Golden Falcons wanted to find their footing, however Fairbanks came out swinging, scoring the first 5 points in this contest. Falcons get on the score board with a block by
#10 Megan Barker to bring the score to 5-1. A few personal errors were the factor within this first set for the Golden Falcons that allowed Fairbanks to break away and win the first set 25-10, bringing the score to 1-0. Starting off the second set, the Golden Falcons looked to make a comeback to bring the score back to even, however this wasn't the case. Alaska Fairbanks were prepared for everything the Golden Falcons were bringing, as they would take a 13-3 lead to start the second set. Kills by

Ashanna Caviness. In what would start off with both teams going back and forth, Fairbanks would grab the momentum, slowly having small point streaks that helped them beat the Golden Falcons 3-0, giving Felician their second loss at the Alaska Fairbanks Tournament.Â
