East Rutherford NJ - Felician University Women's Soccer went on the road as they would go up against Mercy University. In what would be a chance for the Golden Falcons to earn their first win, Mercy had another idea as they would come out firing to start this matchup. The Golden Falcons aim to take this match as a learning point as the potential is there on the field, it's just a matter of when. Here's the breakdown of what happened. 

The Golden Falcons in the first half aimed to bring some pressure going into this match, however Mercy had another idea as they would score 3 goals within the first 20 minutes of this match. This wouldn't be all Mercy as the Golden Falcons had a shot on goal by #24 Makenna Lesczynski, however Mercy would quickly turn this around as they would score another goal to bring the socre to 4-0 at the end of the first half. Going into the second half, the Golden Falcons aim to bring in a few goals to make this match closer, however this wouldn't be the case as Mercy would keep pushing offensively. With #44 Zoe Pite back in the lineup, she didn't allow another goal the entire second half. #17 Valeria Ordonez-Perez comes into the match and having one shot on goal but was saved at the 63rd minute mark. Few more defensive stops by the Golden Falcons, with the help by #6 Megan Boddy, but in the end it would be Mercy picking up the win in this contest, 4-0. 

The Golden Falcons are back on the pitch this Tuesday at home as they go up against Saint Michael's College at 1 PM. The Golden Falcons hoping that in this contest they can achieve their first win on the season.
