First Half - Right away the Golden Falcons kicked things off with a bang, first goal at the 1 minute mark by Hugo Rodriguez, with the assist coming in by Tim Jeager. Felician wasn't done there, as after two more shot attempts came in another goal was scored, this time by Tim Jeager with the assist coming from Hugo Rodriguez, bringing the score to 2-0. On the other side, the defense wasn't allowing anything through, with Alvaro Martin Castedo and Andres Mortensen making countless stops to prevent any goals from coming close to the net. Shots kept occurring for the Golden Falcons, however they wouldn't score another one in this half bringing it to a 2-0 score going into the second half.
Second Half - The Golden Falcons would come out ready to seal the deal, however this wouldn't be the case. At the 63rd minute, Wilmington would score their first goal, then another at the 81st minute to tie things up. With the possibility of a tie coming to the horizon, at the 85th minute, Lorenzo Ferrari seals the deal with a goal, with an assist coming in my Anthony Medina, sealing the deal bringing the score to 3-2 to end this contest in a phenomenal fashion.Â
