RUTHERFORD, NJ – January 4, 2025 – The Felician University men's basketball team delivered a strong performance Saturday afternoon, defeating Georgian Court University 76-63 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action at Job Gymnasium.

The Golden Falcons came out firing, dominating the first half to take a 42-21 lead into the break. While Georgian Court mounted a second-half comeback attempt, Felician's balanced scoring and strong defense held firm to secure the win. The victory improves Felician's record to 7-5 overall and 1-2 in the CACC.

Sophomore Jabri Fitzpatrick led the way for Felician with 15 points, including an impressive 12-for-14 from the free-throw line. He added nine rebounds and four assists in a well-rounded effort. Senior Jhonny Tovar was a force on the boards, finishing with a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds. Marcus Pierce also chipped in 13 points while dishing out five assists.

Felician's defense was key to the win, forcing 16 turnovers and holding Georgian Court to 38.5% shooting from the field. The Golden Falcons also made the most of their opportunities, knocking down 70% of their free throws and shooting 56% from three-point range.

Georgian Court (2-11, 1-2 CACC) was led by Justin Harper and Miles White, who each scored 15 points. Despite outscoring Felician 42-34 in the second half, the Lions couldn't overcome their slow start.
