Newark, N.J. (October 11, 2025) — The Felician University cross country teams turned in competitive performances at the NJIT Highlander Invitational, with the women's team placing 6th in the 5k race and the men's team finishing 8th in the 8k at Branch Brook Park.
In the women's race, senior
Imani Fitzpatrick led the Golden Falcons with a strong run, finishing 19th overall out of 111 runners in a time of 19:48.6. Fitzpatrick's performance marked her best time of the season and helped anchor a consistent effort from the women's squad.
Freshman
Brianna Harrison followed with a 37th-place finish in 21:23.7, showing promise in just her first collegiate season. Junior
Kaitlyn Vieira wasn't far behind, placing 40th in 21:32.3, while freshman Sherylane Labri and sophomore
Crystal Margotta finished 48th (22:28.5) and 50th (22:31.7), respectively, to complete Felician's scoring five.
On the men's side, sophomore
Patrick Du Bois led the way with a 20th-place finish out of 152 runners, crossing the line in 27:19.8. Senior
Joshua Ormilon continued his steady season with a 32nd-place showing (27:54.5), while sophomore
Robert Kennedy placed 48th in 28:51.5. Junior
Hayden Dekoyer wrapped up the scoring effort in 69th place with a time of 30:14.7.
The meet was Felician's fifth competition of the season, as both teams continue to build momentum heading toward the championship portion of the schedule.
