BRONX, N.Y. – Competing in their third meet of the 2025 season, the Felician University cross country teams delivered a strong showing at the Queensborough Cross Country Invitational, held at Van Cortlandt Park. The women's team earned an impressive third-place finish in the 5K, while the men's squad placed sixth overall in the 8K race.

Senior
Imani Fitzpatrick paced the Golden Falcons with a top-10 finish, placing 9th out of 159 runners in 22:58.4. Freshman
Brianna Harrison continued a promising rookie season, finishing 21st in 24:02.6, followed by fellow freshman
Sherylane Larbi in 28th (25:01.3).
Junior
Kaitlyn Vieira crossed in 31st (25:18.2), with freshman
Cynthia Amankwaa (42nd, 26:21.1) and sophomore
Crystal Margotta (43rd, 26:21.3) helping to secure the team's third-place podium finish.

On the men's side, sophomore
Patrick Du Bois led Felician with a 14th-place finish out of 161 competitors, clocking 31:18.1. Senior
Joshua Ormilon followed closely in 16th (31:51.2), with junior
Hayden Dekoyer placing 39th (34:35.6).
Senior
LeoMarvin Abreu finished 48th (35:10.9), while freshmen
Amir Elkholy (58th, 36:08.9) and
Niikwashie Mensah-Sowah (59th, 36:17.0) contributed to the team's sixth-place finish.
Felician will look to continue its momentum at the NJIT Highlander Invitational on October 11 in Newark, N.J.
