Galloway, N.J. – The Felician University cross country teams took to the course at Stockton University on Saturday, September 20, competing in the Osprey Open. Against a strong regional field, the Golden Falcons turned in solid performances on both the men's and women's sides.
In the Men's 8K, Felician placed 8th overall. Sophomore
Patrick Du Bois led the way, crossing the line in 28:34.9 to take 60th out of 162 runners. He was closely followed by senior
Joshua Ormilon, who finished 67th in 28:53.3, and sophomore
Robert Kennedy, who placed 72nd with a time of 29:10.1.
On the women's side, the Golden Falcons secured a 9th-place team finish in the Women's 6K. Senior
Imani Fitzpatrick continued to pace Felician, running 25:48.9 for 48th place. Freshman
Brianna Harrison turned in a strong effort in 27:20.1 to place 74th, while fellow freshman
Sherylane Larbi finished 82nd out of 158 competitors in 27:50.0.
The Golden Falcons return to action on Sunday, September 28, when they travel to the Bronx, N.Y., to compete in the Queensborough Invitational.
