Philadelphia, PA. - The women's soccer team fell 4-0 to Jefferson on Saturday afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match up.
The Golden Falcons battled against one of the top conference and regional teams but were unable to slow the Rams' offensive attack.
Jefferson struck early in the eighth minute. The Rams doubled the lead in the 15th minute, carrying a 2-0 lead into halftime. Two goals were later added in the second half.
Goalkeeper
Isabella Riollano made 11 saves in a strong defensive effort.
Kayleigh Seeton recorded the Golden Falcons' lone shot on target, while
Emmy Eskridge and
Kate Braun also tallied attempts.
Jefferson held a 26-3 advantage in total shots and a 9-0 edge in corner kicks.
