Manchester, N.H. - The
Felician women's basketball team opened the 2025-26 season on the road Friday night, battling Saint Anselm to a 64-56 loss.
The Golden Falcons held a 41-38 lead entering the fourth quarter, but the Hawks erupted for 26 points in the final quarter. Saint Anselm capitalized on Felician turnovers to secure 37 total points.
Stephanie Formby led Felician with a double-double, posting 16 points and 16 rebounds.
Ane Valle added 12 points, as
Lilla Szilvassy provided 11 points and 12 rebounds in her freshman debut. Valle scored six straight for Felician's 13-2 run in the second quarter.
Felician finished with a 55-29 advantage on the glass, including 23 offensive rebounds.
