Howell, N.J. - The Felician University women's bowling team placed third at the Garden State Classic with an overall 9-4 record.
The first day of competition saw five games of baker matches. The team opened with a 896-953 loss to Adelphi, but quickly turned things around. Felician then defeated Holy Family, Monmouth, Bryant, and Morgan State to close the day. Saturday saw one additional day of baker play, as Bryant defeated Felician 996-858.
With four traditional matches on Saturday and two additional on Sunday, Felician took games versus Bowie State, Dominican, Molloy, and Long Island University.
In individual standings,
Mackenzie Keane led the Golden Falcons in eighth place. Keane averaged a 202 with a game-high 237.
Natalia Velasco Tovar placed 10th, averaging 198.83.
Olivia Salvatore followed Velasco Tovar in 11th place with a game-high 235.
Vivian Luna earned a top-20 finish, as
Grace LeFurge and
Sophia Raucher rounded out the team.Â
Felician ended Sunday with a best of seven baker match, defeating Fairleigh Dickinson 4-0.
