Wilmington, DE - Felician kept rolling on Saturday afternoon, closing out its sixth straight win with a 68–58 conference victory at Goldey-Beacom in Wilmington. After weathering an early surge from the Lightning, the Golden Falcons settled in and gradually took control, leaning on defensive pressure and toughness inside to move to 7–2 overall and a perfect 4–0 in CACC play.
The tone of the game shifted in the second quarter, when Felician tightened up defensively and turned stops into scoring chances. The Falcons lived in the paint, finishing with 38 points inside, and stayed relentless on the glass with 14 offensive rebounds that led to 15 second-chance points. Even when shots weren't falling from deep, Felician found ways to apply pressure by pushing tempo and attacking downhill, adding 10 fast-break points to keep Goldey-Beacom from getting comfortable.
Defense was the difference all afternoon. Felician forced 32 turnovers and converted them into 40 points, repeatedly flipping momentum with active hands and quick reads. Deviney Jackson was everywhere on the floor, finishing with 15 points, nine steals, and three assists, setting the pace defensively.
