Rutherford, N.J. - The women's basketball team continued its strong start to the season on Friday afternoon, holding off St. Michael's College for a 75-70 victory.
Felician controlled much of the game from start to finish, opening with an 18-13 first quarter lead and maintaining the advantage through halftime. The Golden Falcons extended their cushion in the third quarter and battled after a late push from the Purple Knights in the final ten minutes to secure the five point win.
Stephanie Formby led all scorers with 26 points and added 14 rebounds for a double-double.
Ane Valle followed with 23 points, 12 rebounds, nine assists, and five steals, while
Lilla Szilvassy chipped in 12 points and eight rebounds. Felician shot 45.9 percent from the field and went 17-for-21 from the free-throw line.

Felician will return to action in 2026, as the team travels to Philadelphia to face Chestnut Hill on January 3.
