Rutherford, N.J. - The women's basketball team continued its strong conference start with a 73-48 victory over Chestnut Hill on Saturday afternoon.
Felician set the tone early in their first game of 2026, jumping out to a dominating 25-9 lead after the first quarter and holding the Griffins to just six points in the second to take a 42-15 advantage into halftime. The Golden Falcons used aggressive defense and efficient ball movement to control the tempo, forcing turnovers and converting them into points.
Stephanie Formby led all scorers with 22 points and 15 rebounds, recording a double-double while anchoring the paint on both ends of the floor. Freshman

Ane Valle chipped in 12 points, nine rebounds, and five assists.
Deviney Jackson provided a spark off the bench with eight points and seven rebounds.
After Chestnut Hill cut into the lead in the third quarter, Felician responded with a dominant fourth, outscoring the Griffins 24-11 to put the game away. The Golden Falcons finished with a 51-28 rebounding advantage and scored 32 points off turnovers.
