Orangeburg, N.Y. - The Felician women's basketball team continued its dominance in conference play with a 68-49 road win over Dominican University Tuesday night.
Felician set the tone early, jumping out to a 21-8 lead after the first quarter and extending the advantage to 42-19 by halftime. The Golden Falcons shot over 54 percent from the floor in each of the opening two quarters.
Ane Valle led all scorers with 17 points to go along with five steals, as
Stephanie Formby added 16 points and went a perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line.
Mckenzie Palek chipped in 14 points and
Deviney Jackson rounded out the team with 10 points, five rebounds, and four steals.
Felician's defense forced 25 Dominican turnovers, converting them into 23 points, while also controlling the paint with 28 points inside.
