Newark, DE. - Felician University women's basketball improved to 3-0 in conference play with a convincing 87-61 road win at Wilmington on Saturday afternoon.
Felician led wire-to-wire and placed three players in double figures.
Stephanie Formby led the team with 24 points and 10 rebounds.
Mckenzie Palek added 10 points, including a pair of three-pointers.
Ane Valle recorded another double-double, 20 points and 12 rebounds.Â
The Golden Falcons built an 18-13 lead after one quarter and carried a 40-28 advantage into halftime. Felician broke the game open with a dominant 29-point third quarter, outscoring the Wildcats 29-17. The Golden Falcons controlled the interior all afternoon, finishing with a 48-28 edge in points in the paint and a 47-31 rebounding advantage.Â
