Shippensburg, PA - The Golden Falcons took on the Raiders of Shippensburg, where they ultiamtely came short in both contest. After a tightly contested first game that resulted in a 2-1 final score, Felician would fall in game two 6-10.
Game One
In a hard-fought game, Felician's offense struggled to generate consistent momentum, while defensive errors and costly mistakes ultimately proved detrimental. The team's only run came in the 1st inning when Aria Reyes reached base on a double and later scored after Layla Albarran delivered a clutch RBI hit. Despite moments of solid defense, Felician committed three errors that contributed to their downfall as the game progressed. Starting pitcher Riley Williams provided a resilient effort in the circle, keeping the Golden Falcons in the game. Williams pitched 6.2 innings, allowing nine hits, two runs (one earned), two walks, and one strikeout on justover one-hundred pitches. Aria Reyes had an exceptional day at the plate, going 2-for-2 with a double, a walk, a stolen base, and scoring Felician's only run. In the field, she registered 5 assists but.
