Shippensburg, PA - The Golden Falcons took on the Raiders of Shippensburg, where they ultiamtely came short in both contest. After a tightly contested first game that resulted in a 2-1 final score, Felician would fall in game two 6-10. 

Game One

In a hard-fought game, Felician's offense struggled to generate consistent momentum, while defensive errors and costly mistakes ultimately proved detrimental. The team's only run came in the 1st inning when Aria Reyes reached base on a double and later scored after Layla Albarran delivered a clutch RBI hit. Despite moments of solid defense, Felician committed three errors that contributed to their downfall as the game progressed. Starting pitcher Riley Williams provided a resilient effort in the circle, keeping the Golden Falcons in the game. Williams pitched 6.2 innings, allowing nine hits, two runs (one earned), two walks, and one strikeout on justover one-hundred pitches. Aria Reyes had an exceptional day at the plate, going 2-for-2 with a double, a walk, a stolen base, and scoring Felician's only run. In the field, she registered 5 assists but. Layla Albarran contributed offensively with a 1-for-3 performance, including the game's sole RBI, driving in Reyes in the first inning. Albarran also showcased her defensive abilities, collecting eleven putouts at first base. As a team, the Golden Falcons recorded five hits over, with one double, one RBI, and one walk.  On defense, the team totaled twenty putouts and twelve assists, but the three errors proved costly. 

Game Two

Felician showcased a strong offensive effort in spurts, highlighted by a four-run second inning that provided an early lead, capitalizing on key hits. The team continued to fight with additional runs in the fourth and sixth innings. However, a five-run fourth inning by Shippensburg shifted the momentum, presenting defensive challenges for the Golden Falcons. Leading the offensive charge was Jullianna Saint Hilaire, who went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and a double. Kylie Sharapan contributed with a 2-for-3 performance, adding an RBI and a run scored. Sienna Meli also made an impact, going 1-for-3 with two runs, an RBI, a double, and two stolen bases. Kailey Alas reached base twice, stole a base, and scored two runs. As a team, Felician collected nine hits, six runs, five RBIs, and three stolen bases. In the circle, the pitching staff combined for six innings, allowing seventeen hits and ten runs (nine earned) while recording one walk and three strikeouts. Defensively, the team recorded eighteen putouts, three assists, and one error.
