Norristown, PA - The Felician University men's golf team posted a two-round total of 661 (+101) to secure a fourth-place finish at the Thomas Jefferson University Spring Invitational held at Jeffersonville Country Club.
Leading the way for the Golden Falcons were
Pablo Hidalgo and
Daniel Martensson, who both tied for fifth place individually with a total score of 21-over par 161. Hidalgo carded rounds of 7-over par 77 and 14-over par 84. Martensson followed closely with scores of 78 (+8) and 83 (+13).Â
Diego Herrera turned in a strong showing, finishing 10th with a total of 163 (+23) after an 81 and 82 in each round.
Kelan Dhanani placed 24th and
Carlos Ferreira rounded out Felician's team scoring, tying for 27th.Â
Individually,
Cesar Castellano finished t-11 with a score of 165 (+25), highlighted by an opening round 6-over par 76.
Felician finished behind Goldey-Beacom, Dominican (N.Y.), and Jefferson. The Golden Falcons will look to compete at the Charger Challenge hosted by Dominican University (N.Y.) beginning on March 31.
