Rutherford, N.J. - The Felician Golden Falcons earned a scoreless 0-0 draw Wednesday afternoon against the D'Youville Saints.
In their first home game, the Golden Falcons were anchored by goalkeeper
Isabella Riollano. Riollano had a seven save shutout, making several key stops to keep the Saints off the board.
Both teams generated chances throughout the match. Felician had several looks in the first half, highlighted by shots from
Kailey Rappel,
Kalina Stanisic, and
Kate Braun. On the other side, Riollano denied Saints forward Olivia Paterniti multiple times.Â
Felician finished the game with six shots, while D'Youville managed eight shots. Both back lines were solid, led by
Evee Augustine and
Emmy Eskridge. The defense limited the Saints' attack despite a six-to-one ratio in corner kicks.Â
