Newark, NJ - Felician University women's soccer remained unbeaten with a 1–0 home victory over St. Thomas Aquinas. Senior, Jalyn Tse scored the lone goal in the sixty-sixth minute, while sophomore goalkeeper Isabella Riollano anchored the Falcons with a nine-save shutout.
The Golden Falcons controlled stretches of play through and quick ball movement, creating fourteen shots with seven on target. Tse provided the breakthrough midway through the second half, finishing cleanly off a setup from Senior midfielder, Briana Franco. The goal marked Tse's fourth collegiate score and Franco's first assist of the season.
Riollano was outstanding in goal, denying multiple Spartan chances in each half to preserve the clean sheet. Six of her saves came in the opening 45 minutes, setting the tone for Felician's disciplined
defensive effort. Defensively, the Golden Falcons recorded their third consecutive shutout of the season. Their consistent pressure, and aggressive play were a key component to keeping the Spartans off the board.
