Manchester, NH – The Golden Falcons opened its 2025 campaign with a dominant sweep of Southern New Hampshire. Set scores were 25–10, 25–11, and 25–18.
The Golden Falcons were fueled by a powerful service game, piling up 16 aces on the night. Rowan Jensen led the charge with a match-high seven aces, while Sandra Galas added five aces to go along with seven kills and fourteen digs. Felician's offense was efficient, finishing with thirty-three kills and a .256 hitting percentage. Ashanna Caviness tallied 8 kills and 2 blocks, while Jensen added 6 kills to her strong serving effort. Sara Betts chipped in with four kills, while Faith Sibert was dominant at the net with four block assists and four kills.
Setters Sophia Watterson and Caydence Franz combined for twenty-one assists. Watterson dished out fourteen assists, while Franz added seven. Defensively, the Golden Falcons tallied forty digs, paced by Galas and Jensen.
The Golden Falcons also controlled the point battle, finishing with fifty-four total points to the Penmen's twenty-one. They return to action on Saturday with two more non-conference match-ups against Saint Anselm and Minnesota Crookston.
