Waterbury, CT – Felician battled to a scoreless draw against Post University to close out the regular season. Behind another strong defensive performance and four saves from Mathias Kristoffersen, the Golden Falcons secured their ninth shutout of the season.
Neither side was able to break through over 90 minutes of play, as Felician and Post each finished with four shots on goal. Kristoffersen remained composed between the posts, turning aside all four attempts he faced to preserve the clean sheet. The Golden Falcons' back line also played a key role in keeping the hosts off the scoreboard.
The result continued Felician's impressive defensive run in conference play. Across ten CACC games, Kristoffersen and the Golden Falcons' defenders have surrendered a combined total of just two goals, helping the team establish itself among the conference's top defensive units.
The draw moves Felician to 6-4-8 overall and 5-0-5 in CACC play. With the regular season coming to a close, the Golden Falcons have officially clinched the No. 3 seed in the CACC postseason.
